Digital Analytics Engineer
Do you enjoy solving complex data and tracking challenges?
We are now strengthening our Digital Experience & Optimization function and are looking for a Digital Analytics Engineer who will play a key role in building the foundation for data-driven decision-making across our digital customer journeys.
About the role
As a Digital Analytics Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring that we collect, structure and maintain reliable data across our digital platforms. You will work at the intersection of technology, data and business, enabling teams across CX, CRO, and analytics to make better decisions based on accurate and trustworthy data. This role is hands-on from day one, with the opportunity to evolve into a broader ownership of tracking and measurement over time.
You will be working closely with Digital Customer Experience (CX), CRO (Conversion Rate Optimization), UX & CX Enablement, Product and Technology, and Analytics and insights teams. Together, we build a more structured, data-driven and scalable way of improving digital customer journeys.
Why this role matters
Reliable data is the foundation for everything we do – from improving customer journeys to optimizing business performance. In this role, you will enable better decisions across the organization, improve how we measure and understand customer behavior and contribute directly to how we optimize digital experiences over time.
What you will do
Own and develop tracking across web and digital customer journeys (GA4, GTM, sGTM)
Ensure data quality, consistency and reliability across all tracking setups
Configure and maintain Google Analytics and reporting (GA4, Looker)
Work with BigQuery to validate data and support deeper analysis
Support CRO and experimentation by ensuring correct measurement of tests
Set up and maintain integrations with tools such as A/B testing platforms
Work closely with IT to implement, test and deploy tracking changes
Identify and resolve tracking issues proactively
Maintain and improve tracking structure, data models and standards
Act as a key resource for analytics teams in understanding tracking and data
What you will bring
We are looking for a technically strong and curious individual who enjoys solving complex data and tracking challenges.
You likely have:
Hands-on experience with GA4, Google Tag Manager and server-side tracking
Experience working with BigQuery or similar data environments
Strong understanding of how tracking works across modern web environments
Experience with cookies, consent, browser limitations (e.g. ITP/ETP) and ad blockers
Ability to debug and understand how data flows across tools and scripts
Basic understanding of JavaScript and HTTP requests
A structured and detail-oriented way of working
Applicants must be fluent in Swedish or Norwegian and English.
It is a plus if you have worked with:
Ad blockers and their impact on tracking
Content security policies (CSP)
Tracking setup supporting digital advertising platforms
In addition to this, it is important to us that you recognize yourself in our values: we are wholehearted, we collaborate and we take the lead.
