Credit Risk Analyst, Danish Portfolio
Help run the bank: join our forward-thinking Nordic team and shape the future of credit risk for our growing Danish unsecured portfolio.
Our Credit & Analytics department is known for being one of the most forward-thinking in the Nordics, made up of talents from across the globe. Within it, the Credit Underwriting & Decision Analytics unit focuses on continuously improving our automated underwriting processes and monitoring risk performance, always with an eye on what's next.
About the role:
As our unsecured portfolios grow in size and complexity, you help shape the future of our Danish portfolio. Credit underwriting sits at the core of an unsecured lending bank, and internally we simply call this "running the bank." You coordinate closely with stakeholders across departments.
What you'll be doing:
Collaborate with business, product and cross-functional teams, bringing credit risk expertise into business decisions
Work with data and data structures to build a strong foundation for monitoring and connect insights to business and risk outcomes
Contribute to continuous improvement of credit risk strategies, tools and processes
Develop and enhance data-driven monitoring and reporting for proactive risk management
Understand how data flows through our systems to identify opportunities and improve decision-making
Communicate findings and recommendations clearly to technical and non-technical audiences alike
Who we're looking for:
You are creative, curious and analytically sharp, someone who enjoys challenging and improving existing methods with data. You see how data flows through business processes and use that to spot opportunities and create value. You thrive collaborating across backgrounds, motivated by tangible business impact.
Beyond that, we're looking for someone with:
At least 5 years' experience in credit risk within the Danish market.
Knowledge of credit bureau data, regulatory requirements and market-specific credit risk factors for Denmark.
Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and present findings clearly.
Strong communication skills, able to explain complex findings in an understandable way.
Experience with analytical tools such as R, Python, SAS or SQL/Databricks.
A degree in a quantitative field such as Economics, Finance, Statistics or Data Science.
Fluency in English; Scandinavian language skills are a plus.
Nice to have:
Familiarity with reporting tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
Exposure to cloud platforms (e.g. AWS, Azure, GCP).
