NOBA Bank Group is looking for an experienced and driven Head of Group Tax with a strong background in both direct and indirect taxes as well as transfer pricing and experience with financial institutions. You will play a key role in ensuring global tax compliance, accurate financial reporting with regard to tax, and optimizing the Group’s tax and reporting processes. NOBA is listed on Nasdaq and operates in eight markets, with reporting units in Sweden, Norway, Finland, and Luxembourg.

About the Role
As Head of Group Tax, you will be responsible for tax governance, international structuring, tax risk management, and the development of tax forecasting frameworks. You will be part of the Finance Management team within CFO Office and actively contribute to tax strategy and process optimization. You will be responsible of building up a small tax team of 1-2 people.
Responsibilities
Responsible for Swedish and international income taxation, including foreign branches and reporting entities.
Lead and ensure compliance with country-by-country reporting (CbCr), Pillar 2 tax, and transfer pricing.
Provide advice on transfer pricing in product design and business structures.
Manage VAT matters and the Group’s VAT group.
Prepare and review complex income tax returns and tax calculations according to relevant standards to ensure taxes are correctly reflected in the financial reporting and tax returns.
Ensure the Group complies with national and international tax laws and regulations.
Act as key contact towards tax authorities.
Support Finance and management with tax-related analyses, reports, and decision-making materials.
Drive improvement projects within the tax area and develop and implement internal routines and processes.
Qualifications
Academic degree in law, economics, taxation, or accounting.
At least 7 years of qualified tax experience, preferably within banking, finance, or multinational companies.
In-depth knowledge of Swedish and international taxation, transfer pricing, VAT matters, and country-by-country reporting.
Documented experience in preparing and reviewing complex tax returns and tax calculations.
Fluency in Swedish and/or Norwegian and English, both spoken and written.
You are an analytical and communicative professional with a proactive approach to problem-solving. You have the ability to work independently, taking responsibility for your tasks, while also thriving as part of a team. Your have a strong analytical skills that enable you to assess complex situations and develop effective solutions.
